Your workplace should be free from discrimination and harassment.

Meet Ashley

Ashley L. McCormack is an associate at Goddard Law, where she represents employees in a wide range of employment matters, including discrimination, sexual harassment, retaliation, and other workplace rights claims. A former Massachusetts prosecutor, Ashley now brings that same trial-ready rigor and sense of justice to advocating for employees facing unlawful treatment at work. She is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New York.

Ashley began her legal career as an Assistant District Attorney in the Bristol County District Attorney’s Office in New Bedford, Massachusetts, where she prosecuted thousands of criminal cases in the district and juvenile courts. Her work as a prosecutor—marked by zealous advocacy, sound judgment, and deep empathy for survivors—continues to shape her approach as a plaintiff-side employment attorney seeking accountability for workplace misconduct.

Before joining Goddard Law, Ashley practiced for five years at McCormack Law, where she represented clients in criminal matters, care and protection cases, restraining orders, traffic matters, and plaintiff-side personal injury claims. She also practiced at two Boston-based litigation firms, handling cases involving personal injury, property damage, professional malpractice, consumer protection, wrongful death, and product liability. Her experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants gives her a nuanced and strategic perspective when advocating for workers facing discrimination, harassment, and abuse of power.

Ashley earned her Juris Doctor from Northeastern University School of Law. She received her Bachelor of Science from Suffolk University.

Ashley is admitted to practice in Massachusetts and New York and has been recognized as a Super Lawyers Rising Star from 2021 through 2025. She is a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association and NELA New York. Outside the courtroom, she has volunteered with Discovering Justice, coaching mock trial teams, and is an active advocate in the fight to end ALS. She has personally raised more than $40,000 for ALSONE, a nonprofit dedicated to ALS research and patient care.

“Goddard Law is dedicated to representing employees and other individuals in all industries and at all employment levels. As advocates for workplace fairness, our passion and profession is to help advance the goals of employees and protect their rights against injustices at work. We understand how powerless individuals facing discrimination and retaliation can feel, and we have made it our duty to empower our clients to stand up to employers who have wronged them and also to move forward in the job market with confidence.”
